As I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my soul to keep
and I wonder if he'll take me as I am.
If I die before I wake I pray the lord my soul to take.
Does he know i've done the best I can.

I did my time and i'm just fine. I can smile again.

I don't wanna be no half ass. Got to breathe to get the last laugh.
Got to stand and make it through the day.
When I face what's in store I know what the Hell i've been fighting for.
When I should run I plant my feet and say.
